Participation at the Device Research Conference 2025
AMO GmbH and the Chair of Electronic Devices (ELD) successfully participated in the 83rd Device Research Conference (DRC), held at Duke University. The event featured a wide range of outstanding technical presentations and offered numerous opportunities for scientific exchange and networking.
A particular highlight was the recognition of Sofia Cruces (ELD), who received the Best Poster Award for her research on volatile and nonvolatile resistive switching in 2D MoS₂ memristors. This award reflects the high quality and relevance of the work conducted within ELD.
Yuan Fa, PhD candidate at AMO GmbH, delivered a well-received talk on 2D WS₂ memristors fabricated at wafer scale using Atomic Layer Deposition. His presentation contributed to the ongoing discussion on scalable fabrication methods for emerging electronic devices.
Professor Max Lemme gave a keynote lecture on ion-based memristive switching in two-dimensional materials, presenting results from collaborative work with Sofia Cruces, Yuan Fa, Jimin Lee, Ke Ran, and Lukas Völkel. The talk also included recent developments from the NeuroSys Cluster and the ENERGIZE Project.
The conference provided many valuable interactions, including meetings with former colleague Professor Alwin Daus (University of Stuttgart) and ENERGIZE Project partner Professor Gunuk Wang (Korea University), among many other international researchers.
AMO GmbH thanks the organizers of the DRC for a well-executed event and looks forward to future opportunities to present and discuss cutting-edge research in the field of electronic devices.
