2nd Workshop on “2D Materials for Future Electronics”
The 2nd Workshop on “2D Materials for Future Electronics” will take place on March 3–4, 2026, in Aachen, Germany. This two-day, in-person event brings together researchers and industry experts to discuss recent advances and future perspectives of two-dimensional materials in electronic applications.
The workshop will focus on the role of 2D materials in enabling energy-efficient electronics, highlighting novel device concepts, materials integration, and emerging technologies. Through invited talks and discussions, participants will gain insight into current research trends and key challenges shaping the next generation of electronic systems.
The workshop is organized by AMO GmbH, the Aachen Graphene & 2D Materials Center, and RWTH Aachen University and continues a successful series of events dedicated to 2D materials.
The workshop is organized as an in-person event to foster exchange and networking among the participants. It will start on Tuesday, March 3rd, about noon and will end on Wednesday, March 4th, around 2 p.m. . There will be a poster session with dinner on Tuesday evening, offering opportunity for presenting novel results and discussing future perspectives. We are looking forward to many interesting contributions! Work in progress is welcome.
