Workshop on “Novel (2D) Materials and Their Applications”
Novel materials are the foundation of innovation and the key to addressing many global challenges. The workshop Novel (2D)-Materials and Their Applications will highlight some current efforts for understanding and harnessing the properties of novel materials such as two-dimensional materials beyond graphene – including synthetic 2D materials that do not exist in nature – as well as perovskites and thin-film oxides. The aim is to bring together researchers from different communities to discuss emerging topics in these fields.
The workshop is organized by AMO GmbH in collaboration with RWTH Aachen University, the Aachen Graphene & 2D Materials Center, and the EU-funded projects 2D-ENGINE, 2D-PL, Attoswitch, and FOXES.
