Graphene Pavilion at the Mobile World Congress

AMO at MWC 1The Graphene Flagship, the EU’s biggest ever research initiative, is excited to present the inaugural Graphene Pavilion at the 2016 Mobile World Congress (MWC), the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry with over 100,000 attendees and 2000 exhibitors, 22-25 February 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. The Graphene Pavilion will be a unique space to explore the latest graphene based innovations from both academia and industry with numerous prototypes and demonstrations.

The Graphene Pavilion, jointly organised and run by the Graphene Flagship, ICFO and GSMA will include live demos and prototypes of many different properties and applications. AMO GmbH, as part of the Graphene Flagship, is presenting the latest flexible Hall-Sensors, high-speed photodetectors and flexible WiFi receivers at the Graphene Pavilion.

During the afternoon of day one Commissioner Oettinger visited the Graphene Pavilion, touring the working prototype demonstrations. He was clearly interested in the potential of graphene, eager to learn more about the interactive prototypes and impressed to see several showcases of the large-scale production of graphene. At the end of his tour he commentated that he was happy to keep supporting the Graphene Flagship and looked forward to returning to our Graphene Pavilion at the Mobile World Congress next year.
