PPA Seminar „Nanostructures for optical components“ in Aachen September 13, 2016

Nanotechnology (NT) is one of the key drivers for the technological progress particular in the fields of nanoelectronics as well as optics (photonics).

Herewith, in the area of nanoelectronics, components with significantly improved performances are generated. The technology potential is indicated by the capability of adapting and even modifying the functionality of materials. Specific nanostructuring processes generate new features out of well known materials, opening up new application fields again. This seminar targets the demonstration of new possibilities of nanolithography to the network participants as well as the presentation of nanostructuring applications in the area of spectroscopy, photonics and optics.
