Semiconductors for AI: Innovation Technology for Companies in the Rhineland Territory

This event taking place in Aachen on May 5, 2023 is organized jointly by the agency Zukunftsagentur Rheinisches Revier (Rhineland Territory) together withthe BMBF funded NeuroSys Cluster4Future (Neuromorphic Hardware for Autonomous Artificial Intelligence Systems), coordinated by Prof. Max Lemme, RWTH Aachen University as well as the BMBF funded project NEUROTEC (Neuro-inspired artificial intelligence technologies), coordination Prof. Rainer Waser, Forschungszentrum Jülich.

The aim is to show regional companies how AI-based applications already support business processes and how cutting-edge research in microelectronics can be used to reach companies. In addition, from both research networks NeuroSys and NEUROTEC will give an insight into the research activities and how a future economic exploitation of the research results could ideally look like. Selected companies will report from their practice on how AI-supported systems are profitably used and what prospects they see for the coming future.

This event is particularly interesting for entrepreneurs from the Rhineland region who want to be inspired for their own business model by impulse presentations from companies that have already integrated AI into their corporate infrastructure. We deliberately want to reach a broad spectrum of companies with this event, including those whose business model is not directly related to data processing and computer technology. The interdisciplinary character of this event is very important to us!

The event will take place at Super C (RWTH Aachen University), Templergraben 57, in 52062 Aachen on May 5, 2023.
