New Group Leader of Perovskite Optoelectronics Dr. Maryam Mohammadi
On August 1, 2023, Dr. Maryam Mohammadi was promoted to Head of Perovskite Optoelectronics group at AMO.
She joined AMO in February 2022 as post doc and has since proven to be an asset to the company.
“Maryam’s expertise, dedication and reliability made her an excellent candidate for becoming the head of the Perovskite Optoelectronics group”, says Prof. Max Lemme.
Maryam completed her PhD in Material Science and Engineering, with a specific focus on Oxide Perovskite Materials, at Tarbiat Modares University in Iran and EMPA, Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology in Switzerland.
Subsequently, her post-doctoral research pursuits have revolved around the domain of Metal-Halide Perovskites, conducted at prestigious institutions including Sharif University of Technology, the University of Amsterdam, and AMOLF Research Institute in Amsterdam.
The Perovskite Optoelectronics group’s research at AMO currently centers on advancing next-generation optoelectronic technologies through the development of cost-effective, high-performance, and solution-based metal halide perovskite materials, which constitute the group’s ambitious focal point.
Dr. Mohammadi says: “I am thankful for the opportunity to lead this talented team of researchers and I look forward to our future endeavors.”
