nanovate! #7 – On course for the future

This issue is dedicated to the tenth anniversary of two initiatives that have profoundly influenced what AMO is today: the Graphene Flagship and the Johannes Rau Society (JRF).

The Graphene Flagship is one of the largest research initiatives ever launched by the European Union, and the Johannes Rau Society (JRF) is a consortium of non-profit and non-academic research institutes in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). The two constructs are vastly different in structure and scope but unified by a common vision: collaborative research as a pillar for increasing the common good.

We also celebrate the promotion of a colleague to group leader and present new projects and our conference highlights.
