Girls’ & Boys’ Day at AMO GmbH: Eleven girls and one boy

AMO GmbH is delighted that eleven girls and, for the first time, one boy took part in this year’s Girls’ & Boys’ Day. Pupils were invited to experience the fascination of nanotechnology at first hand in AMO‘s cleanroom.

In an industry in which the ratio of female specialists has traditionally been low, there has been a significant change, which is also reflected at AMO. The ratio of women in research here has risen to 35 %.

“A fascination with technology drives everything we do,” says Caroline Porschatis, Deputy Head of Services & Technology Transfer at AMO. ”

By participating in these events, we want to encourage young people to discover and develop their creativity and potential in STEM fields.”

AMO GmbH will continue to work to make the fascination of technology accessible to all and looks forward to shaping the future together with the next generations of talent.
