Workshop announcement: Two exciting days dedicated to “Novel (2D) Materials and their Applications”
AMO is co-organizing an exciting 2-day workshop dedicated to Novel (2D) Materials and their Applications on February 17-18, 2025.
Novel materials are the foundation of innovation and the key to solving many global challenges. The workshop – organized by AMO GmbH in collaboration with RWTH Aachen University, the Aachen Graphene & 2D Materials Center and the EU-funded projects 2D-ENGINE, 2D-PL, Attoswitch, and FOXES – will showcase ongoing efforts to understand and exploit the unique properties of advanced materials. These include:
- 2D materials beyond graphene
- Synthetic 2D materials not found in nature
- Perovskites
- Thin film oxides
The goal of the workshop is to bring together researchers from different communities to discuss emerging issues and advances in these exciting fields. Participation is free and open to everyone.
The workshop will have a lunch-to-lunch format. There will be a poster session with dinner on Monday evening to present novel results and discuss future perspectives.
