Also this year, AMO is opening its doors for Girls’Day, a nationwide initiative aimed at encouraging young girls to explore careers in fields where women are still underrepresented.

We invite girls aged 12 and older to dive into the fascinating world of nanotechnology—a field that plays a crucial role in modern electronics, medicine, and environmental science. At AMO, they will step into our cleanroom, discover how structures 10,000 times thinner than a human hair are created, and experiment themselves with the rudiments of lithography.
