ENERGIZE: Successful First In-Person Consortium Meeting at AMO in Aachen
The first in-person consortium meeting of the ENERGIZE project took place at AMO GmbH in Aachen – an intense and productive day that significantly contributed to aligning the shared research goals.
ENERGIZE is one of four research projects funded under a joint semiconductor initiative by the Chips Joint Undertaking of the European Commission and the Republic of Korea. Its aim is to develop energy-efficient neuromorphic systems based on two-dimensional materials – a promising approach for the next generation of AI hardware.
We were especially pleased with the international participation: In addition to the European partners from Italy, Spain, and Switzerland, our Korean colleagues from SKKU, Korea University, Sogang University, and GIST also joined – some in person, others virtually.
We thank all participants for the enthusiastic exchange and look forward to continued collaboration in this forward-looking project.
