K-Band CVD-Graphene-Based Compact Reconfigurable Quadrature Coupler for Flexible Electronics

🎉 Exciting News from the Graphene Electronics Community! 🎉
Congratulations to Eyyub BAŞKENT, Zhenxing Wang, Max Lemme, and Renato Negra on their recent publication in IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques! 📰📡
Their work presents a graphene-diode-based quadrature hybrid coupler for high-frequency electronics on flexible substrates, operating in the K-band. This innovation marks a significant step toward scalable, reconfigurable RF systems using 2D materials.
We’re proud that this achievement is the result of a long-standing collaboration between RWTH Aachen University — including the Chair of High Frequency Electronics (Lehrstuhl für Höchstfrequenzelektronik – RWTH Aachen)
and the Chair of Electronic Devices (Lehrstuhl für Elektronische Bauelemente (ELD)) — and AMO GmbH, combining academic excellence with applied research in 2D material-based electronics.
This work was supported by European Commission through the projects HashtagGrapheneCore3 (881603) and HashtagWiPLASH (863337), and by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) – German Research Foundation through the project HashtagGLECS2 (NE 1633/3-2).
