MNE2025 in Southampton
A reflective look back at an inspiring week:
From 15 to 18 September 2025, the 51st International Micro and Nano Engineering Conference (MNE2025) took place in Southampton — a fantastic opportunity to connect with experts from around the world, exchange ideas, and present cutting-edge research.
AMO GmbH was proud to be present with its own booth, engaging in many insightful conversations with visitors. A special thank you goes to Caroline Porschatis and the entire AMO team for their dedicated and professional representation on site.
AMO also contributed actively to the talks and poster sessions:
- Jens Bolten, coordinator of the i-EDGE project, presented his research on “Carbon-based contacts for integrated nanoelectromechanical switches.”
- Pragya Sah showcased her work on “High Resolution Electron Beam Lithography Patterning for Advanced Grating Couplers,” part of the BMBF-funded ATIQ project.
- Maxim Lipkin shared results from the QSPEC project on “Writing Field Stitching and Optical Losses in SOI Waveguides.”
- Nico Rademacher enriched the poster session with his contribution on “Scalable manufacturing processes for solid-state nanopores using Atomic Layer Deposition,” part of the nanodiag BW project.
We’re grateful for the inspiring discussions and the vibrant community at MNE2025 — and we’re already looking forward to next year’s edition!
