nanovate! turns 10
We’re happy to announce the release of the 10th issue of nanovate!, AMO’s company magazine — a small but joyful milestone, dedicated to AMO’ commitment to building bridges between disciplines, institutions, and ideas.
This issue spotlights two exciting research initiatives that exemplify how collaboration drives innovation:
- The Transregional Collaborative Research Center Active-3D – tackling one of microelectronics’ biggest challenges: the rising energy demand of computing. By exploring new materials and true 3D integration, Active-3D aims to revolutionize circuit architectures and dramatically reduce power consumption.
- The EU-Korea project ENERGIZE – developing neuromorphic hardware based on 2D materials, inspired by the brain’s efficiency. This international collaboration strives to enable sustainable, low-power AI systems while strengthening global partnerships in advanced computing.
At AMO, we’re proud to play a central role in connecting the partners and expertise that make such visionary projects possible. Collaboration and trust remain the foundation of sustainable technological progress.
