2D-PL Multi-Project Wafer Run at AMO – registration is open
The registration for the next Multi Project Wafer run within the 2D Pilot Line is now open. This upcoming run is dedicated to electronic devices, with the possibility to integrate sensor functionalities—such as Hall sensors—within the supported process flow.
The 2D Pilot Line (2D-PL) is a European initiative aimed at accelerating the transition of 2D-material-based technologies from research to scalable manufacturing. The Multi Project Wafer (MPW) runs enables companies, startups, and research groups to prototype their device concepts on shared wafers, drastically reducing cost and development time.
For this MPW, AMO offers a Graphene Field-Effect Transistor (GFET) as the standardized base design. The platform features:
- Local back gate
- Bottom-contact architecture
- Design flexibility within defined specifications
