AMO at the Siemens Research and Innovation Ecosystem Conference

3. December 2025

On December 3, 2025, AMO GmbH had the pleasure of contributing to the Siemens Research and Innovation Ecosystem Conference held at RWTH Aachen University’s Campus Melaten. The event focused on the future of AI‑based systems engineering and offered an excellent platform to present our research and the activities of the Cluster4Future NeuroSys to an international audience of experts.

A particular highlight of the day was the visit to our cleanroom facilities. Experts from Siemens, joined by colleagues from Eindhoven University of Technology and KU Leuven, were given an inside look at our state‑of‑the‑art research environment. The tour provided first‑hand insights into AMO’s ongoing work in neuromorphic and AI‑driven systems and showcased the technological developments currently underway.

AMO also took an active role in the scientific discussions surrounding next‑generation approaches to systems engineering. Together with the Chair of Electronic Devices (ELD), we presented current research directions and future perspectives. Prof. Max Lemme offered an impulse talk outlining the role of neuromorphic technologies in future system architectures, while Lukas Jünger introduced the startup MachineWare GmbH and highlighted its potential for AI‑based development processes.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Siemens Research and Innovation Ecosystem and RWTH Innovation for organizing this inspiring event. Special appreciation goes to Sebastian Dreßen and Yasemin Cilt, as well as to all contributors and participants who made this valuable exchange possible. For AMO, it was a pleasure and an honor to be part of these forward‑looking discussions. We look forward to continuing the dialogue and jointly driving new impulses in the development of AI‑based technologies.
