11th NRW Sustainability Conference

On December 4, 2025, AMO GmbH participated in the 11th NRW Sustainability Conference in Mülheim an der Ruhr. With more than 400 participants, the event clearly demonstrated the strong importance of sustainability in our region and the growing interest in forward‑looking solutions. At the “Market of Opportunities,” AMO colleagues Herbert Kleinjans and Ulrich Plachetka presented AMO’s current research activities, including the Roll2Sol project, which is funded through EFRE/JTF in NRW. The project focuses on developing nanostructured films designed to enhance photocatalytic hydrogen production while also reducing the susceptibility of solar modules to soiling. Numerous conversations with innovators and committed stakeholders from various fields provided valuable insights and a lively exchange on sustainable technologies and regional future perspectives. Sustainability in all its dimensions is a central topic for AMO. From advancing energy‑efficient technologies to strengthening local value chains, we are committed to contributing to a climate‑neutral future.
