Visit of Dr. Tim Grüttemeier at AMO

On December 18, 2025, AMO GmbH had the great pleasure of welcoming Dr. Tim Grüttemeier, District Administrator of the Aachen region (StädteRegion Aachen). The visit offered a valuable opportunity to discuss future technologies, regional innovation strategies, and AMO’s role as a bridge between cutting‑edge research and industrial application, together with representatives of the NeuroSys Cluster.

The conversation focused on how scientific results can be made even more tangible and which structural conditions are needed to support the transformation process in the Rhenish mining region. It became clear that only close cooperation between science, industry, society, and politics can create a strong innovation ecosystem — and thus lay the foundation for long‑term technological and economic strength in the region.

For AMO, the meeting was an important impulse, highlighting how essential dialogue with regional decision‑makers is for the further development of our research and technology‑transfer activities.
