AMO Launches into the MIND Project: New Perspectives on Diversity, Collaboration, and Organizational Culture

AMO stands for diversity, openness, and respectful collaboration.
That’s why we are very pleased to participate in MIND – Microtechnology, Interaction, New Perspectives on Diversity – a nationwide project that actively shapes the future of workplace culture in microtechnology.

MIND follows a clear objective:
To specifically support women and other underrepresented groups in STEM and sustainably increase their participation in the microtechnology sector.
The project addresses key challenges related to securing skilled workers, as well as broader societal questions of equal opportunity, inclusion, and modern human resources development.
The project is carried out by Prospektiv GmbH in cooperation with the IVAM Microtechnology Network.

What is the MIND project about?

MIND examines how companies can become more attractive, innovative, and future-ready in the long term through diversity, strong collaboration, and an inclusive organizational culture. The project brings together several components:

1. Promoting diversity in the microtechnology industry

  • Supporting women and other underrepresented groups in STEM
  • Breaking down structural and cultural barriers
  • Strengthening role models and empowerment

2. Industry exchange and organizational development

  • Reflecting on one’s own organizational culture
  • Making different perspectives within companies visible
  • Providing impulses for modern collaboration, leadership, and sustainable HR development

3. Building a nationwide digital platform

A central element of the project is the development of a digital platform that:

  • Connects companies, skilled professionals, and young talents
  • Offers information and learning materials on diversity, unconscious bias, work–family balance, and modern HR topics
  • Supports companies in recruitment and enhances their employer attractiveness
  • Provides employees with free training opportunities and broad exchange

The online kick-off “Open Minds – Diversity as a Key to Sustainable HR Development” already demonstrated the strong commitment and openness within the project group. The discussions, shifts in perspective, and practical examples showed the great potential that a diversity-oriented work culture holds for the entire microtechnology sector.
