AMO at QUANTUMatter 2026 in Barcelona
From April 27th to 30th 2026 AMO GmbH was part of the international quantum community at QUANTUMatter 2026 in Barcelona. The conference brought together leading experts from science, technology and industry and provided an inspiring platform to exchange ideas on current developments and future perspectives in quantum technologies.
AMO was represented on site by our colleague Grigory Vydrevich, who actively contributed to in depth discussions throughout the event. A central topic of the conference was the question of how promising proof of concept devices can be successfully translated into robust and scalable technological solutions. Addressing this challenge is essential for moving from early stage research towards practical applications that can be implemented in industry.
In addition to the diverse presentations and technical sessions, the conference offered many opportunities for personal exchange and networking with international researchers and innovators. Grigory engaged in numerous conversations, strengthening existing connections, gaining new insights and exploring potential avenues for future collaboration.
As part of the event, he also gave a short interview for The Quantum Factor. In this interview, he shares his perspective on the motivations and key challenges involved in scaling quantum devices and provides insights into the technological approaches that drive this progress.
We would like to thank the organizers of QUANTUMatter 2026 and all participants for creating such a dynamic and inspiring environment. Events like this play an important role in advancing quantum technologies and fostering collaboration between research and industry.
