New graphene diode enables efficient microwave power detector

In cooperation with RWTH Aachen University and the University of Pisa, researchers from AMO realized the world first microwave power detector based on metal-insulator-graphene (MIG) diodes, which is able to perform power detection for frequency up to 50 GHz.

EuroNanoForum 2017 – AMO at this years NMWP.NRW joint exhibtion booth

AMO GmbH presented itself as a strong partner and pathfinder for key enabling technologies at the joint exhibtion booth of the North Rhine-Westphalian cluster NMWP.NRW (NanoMicroMaterialsPhotonics.NRW e.V.). AMO takes part at EuroNanoForum for the second time. Further booth partners are CeNTech GmbH and Nanobay GmbH.

AMO team started at the first RWTH Campus run

With a team of eight highly motivated and well trained colleagues AMO GmbH took part successfully at the first RWTH Campus run. The running event on June 2 led through the Campus Melaten area passing the AMO building directly.

Nanophotonics: Fiber-Chip-Coupling

AMO GmbH is project partner within a new joint ZIM project named `Fiber-Chip-Coupling´. Project partners besides AMO are LightFab GmbH also located in Aachen as well as Aifotec AG from Meiningen.
