A new paradigm of THz-energy harvester based on graphene

Researchers from AMO GmbH, RWTH Aachen University, Chalmers University and the University of Wuppertal have developed a novel type of flexible energy harvester that shows good prospects for powering wearable and conformal devices. The work has been published open-access on ACS Applied Electronic Materials.

GreEnergy: setting a new paradigm for solar energy harvesting

AMO GmbH is partner of GreEnergy, a new project funded by the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 Programme, which aims at developing optical nano-antennas as cost-effective solar energy harvester for a greener future.

2021 starts with five new European Projects

In January 2021, AMO GmbH has launched five new projects funded by the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme. Their acronyms are Aeolus, MISEL, Graced, GreEnergy and 2Exciting, and their topics range from neuromorphic computing, to energy harvesting, to innovative photonic components for air-sensing and food-quality monitoring.
