How to find us
By public transport:
The airports of Düsseldorf and Cologne can be reached in about an hour. The airport of Brussels is about 90 minutes away.
Aachen is easily accessible by train (www.db.de) to Aachen central station. From there, take a taxi or bus (line 3A, direction Uniklinik via Ponttor). Take the bus to the stop “Campus Melaten (Physikzentrum)”. From there, take the few steps that lead to the university buildings and follow the signs “AMICA/AMO”.
Further bus lines (from the city center) 33 (direction University Hospital or Vaals), 73 (direction University Hospital), 12, 22 (direction Campus Melaten). You can find the ASEAG bus schedule at: https://www.aseag.de/fahrplanauskunft.
By car:
At the Aachen motorway junction, take the A4 in the direction of Antwerp. At the exit “Aachen Laurensberg” turn right into Kohlscheider Straße. After the traffic lights, keep to the right and take the outer ring road (towards Klinikum). Leave the ring road at the exit “RWTH Melaten”. Leave the following roundabout at the second exit and follow the road until the fourth exit on the right side and turn right into “Otto-Blumenthal-Straße”. AMO GmbH with a large glass dome is located at the end of this street.
