Good scientific practice

AMO GmbH has implemented the DFG Code of Conduct Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice in the cooperation model with RWTH Aachen University.

Accordingly, the rules of RWTH Aachen University for safeguarding good scientific practice apply mutatis mutandis to AMO GmbH in the currently valid version.

In accordance with the guidelines and procedures for safeguarding good scientific practice at RWTH Aachen University, all scientists at AMO GmbH are obliged to:

  •  work lege artis
  • document results and to consistently question all results themselves
  • maintain strict honesty with regard to the contributions of partners, competitors and predecessors
  • avoid and prevent scientific misconduct.

AMO GmbH’s management has appointed the following ombudspersons, who can be contacted by AMO GmbH scientists in the event of conflict or in cases of suspected scientific misconduct:

In addition to the local ombudspersons, there is also the option of contacting the national ombudsman committee ‘Ombudsman Committee for Scientific Integrity in Germany’.
