Cooperative project on EU level – PLASMOfab is presenting its official promotional video

The new promotional video of PLASMOfab – a cooperative project on EU level – is online.

Within the project PLASMOfab AMO is cooperating successfully with Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, ETH Zürich, AMS AG and Mellanox Technologies as well as four further partners. Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is the coordinator of the project.

PLASMOfab, financed by the European Commission, is developing a CMOS compatible platform for co-integrated plasmonic, photonic and electronic PICs (photonic integrated connections). These PICs can be applied for mass production of high-performance nanophotonic devices with low power consumption.

Within the project AMO is working on the development of waveguides based on silicon nitride structures as CMOS compatible plasmonic/photonic platform.
