Two inspiring days on 2D materials

More than 100 participants attended the workshop “2D Materials for Future Electronics” organized by AMO GmbH in cooperation with the Aachen Graphene & 2D Materials Center, the RWTH Aachen and the University of Wuppertal on February 19 and 20 in Aachen, Germany.

The aim of the workshop was to discuss the opportunities offered by 2D materials for future electronics – in particular for ultra-scale transistors, flexible electronics and neuromorphic computing. The progress presented during the two-day event leaves little doubt that 2D materials will play an increasing role in future electronics.

Many thanks to all speakers and participants who contributed to this successful event!

The workshop was organized with the financial support of the European Union through the projects 2D-EPL, ORIGENAL, MISEL, AttoSwitch, and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research through the Cluster4Future NeuroSys.
